SANIFER plays a role in expanding the L.M.A.

Construction of a 2-storey building

The Lycée Moderne AMPEFILOHA or L.M.A. was the first public high school opened in Madagascar over 50 years ago. With more than 3,000 students, the L.M.A. has obtained excellent baccalaureate results since 2009.

On Friday, 30 October 2020, the VISEO Foundation inaugurated construction work on a 2-storey building with two spacious classrooms and two large rooms on the first and second floors of the Lycée Moderne Ampefiloha (L.M.A.).

This new infrastructure will allow the L.M.A. to offer its students a study room as well as a cultural room, in addition to the two classrooms. These spaces are dedicated to students who do not always have an environment that is conducive to studying at home.

The Lycée Moderne AMPEFILOHA or L.M.A. was the first public high school opened in Madagascar over 50 years ago. With more than 3,000 students, the L.M.A. has obtained excellent baccalaureate results since 2009.

The construction of this building was financed by the VISEO Foundation, with its partners SANIFER and OCEANTRADE, two companies that compete on the local market, but are united by a common vision of supporting excellence and access to education.

The VISEO Foundation, since its creation by ministerial decree in 2018 and chaired by Mr Moustafa HIRIDJEE, has aimed to build and rehabilitate at least 100 classrooms in 5 years, as well as to provide support to public health structures working for children in rural areas and deprived neighbourhoods in towns and cities.

Access to education is a priority for SANIFER. With this conviction, the company is delighted to contribute 100 million Ariary to improve study conditions for pupils at the Lycée Moderne Ampefiloha.
